    SKATE THAILAND 2006 RULES & REGULATIONS

    Figure & Spees Skating Association of Thailand (FSAT)
     
    Group A
    SHORT PROGRAM (music duration Max. 2.50 mins.)
    1. Axel Paulsen or Double Axel Paulsen
    2. One Double or Triple Jump immediately preceded by connecting steps and/or by other comparable freeskating movements
    3. One Jump Combiantion consisting of Double+Double or Triple+Double
    4. Flying Spin (8 revolutions)
    5. Ladies: Layback or Sideway Leaning Spin (8 revolutions)
        Men: Sit Spin with only one change of foot (6 revolutions on each foot)
    6. Spin Combination with one change of foot and at least two change of position (6 revolutions on each foot)
        Thee minimum number of revolutions required in each position is two. in case thisrequirement is not fulfilled the position is not counted
    7. Ladies:One Spiral Step Sequence with at least 3 spiral positions with one change of foot
        Men: One Step Sequence with full utilization of the ice surface straight line, circular or serpentine)
    8. Ladies: One Step Sequence with full utilization of the ice surface straight line, circular or serpentine)
        Men: One Step Sequence of a different nature to 7 with full utilization of the ice surface straight line, circular or serpentine)
     
    FREE PROGRAM (music duration Ladies 3:30 mins. Men 4:00 mins.+/- 10 seconds)
    1. Maxmum of 7 jump elements for ladies and maximum of 8 jump elements for men, one of which must be an Axel type jump.
    2. There must be a maximum of 3 spins of a different nature, onr of which must be a spin combination and one flying spin.
       In spins the minimum number of revolutions required in a position is 2. In case this requirement is not fulfilled, the position is not counted.
       The number of changes of foot in the spin combination is optional.
    3. There must be a maximum of one step or spiral sequence that fully utilizes the ice surface.
       A spiral position in order to be counted must be held for at least 3 seconds.

    Group B
    SHORT PROGRAM
    (music duration Max. 2.30 mins.)
    1. Axel Paulsen
    2. One Double immediately preceded by connecting steps
    3. One Jump Combiantion consisting of Double+Single or Double+Double
    4. Ladies: Layback or Sideway Leaning Spin (8 revolutions)
        Men: Sit Spin with only one change of foot (6 revolutions on each foot)
    5. Spin Combination with one change of foot and at least two change of position (6 revolutions on each foot)
        Thee minimum number of revolutions required in each position is two. in case thisrequirement is not fulfilled the position is not counted
    6. Ladies:One Spiral Sequence with at least 2 spiral positions. A spiral position in order to be counted must be held for at least 3 seconds
        Men: One Step Sequence with full utilization of the ice surface straight line, circular or serpentine)
    7. Ladies: One Step Sequence with full utilization of the ice surface straight line, circular or serpentine)
        Men: One Step Sequence of a different nature to 6 with full utilization of the ice surface straight line, circular or serpentine)

    FREE PROGRAM (music duration Ladies 3:00 mins. Men 3:30 mins.+/- 10 seconds)
    1. Maxmum of 6 jump elements for ladies and maximum of 7 jump elements for men,
       one of which must be an Axel type jump and there may be up to 3 jump combinations or sequences.
       Only one jump combination can contain 3 jumps. A jump sequence can contain any number of jumps,
       but only 2 most difficult jumps will be counted
    2. There must be a maximum of 3 spins of a different nature, onr of which must be a spin combination and one flying spin.

    4. Camel Spin (4 revolutions)
    5. Layback Spin (6 revolutions) or Fast Back Scratch Spin (6 revolutions)
    6. Ladies: One Spiral Step Sequence with at least 2 spiral position with one chang of foot
        Men: One Step Sequence (spiral, straight, circular or serpentine line)
     
    FREE PROGRAM (music duration 3:00 mins.+/- 10 seconds)
    1. Maximum 6 jumps elements (one of which must be a jump combination or sequence of jumps but not more than 3 in total)
    2. Maximum of 3 spins, one of which must be a spin combination with at least one change of position.
    3. One Step Sequence (spiral, straight, circular or serpentine line)
     
    Group D
    SHORT PROGRAM (music duration Max. 2.00 mins.)
    1. Waltz Jump
    2. One-half Jump or One Single Jump
    3. One Jump Combianation consisting of Single+Single, Single+half Jump, Waltz + Half Jump
    4. One-Foot Spin or Sit Spin (6 revolutions)
    5. One Spin (5 revolutions)
    6. One Step Sequence (spiral, straight, circular or serpentine line)
     
    FREE PROGRAM (music duration 2.30 mins.+/- 10 seconds)
    1. Maximum 5 jumps elements (one of which must be a jump combination or sequence of jumps but not more than 3 in total)
    2. Maximum of 2 spins
    3. One Step Sequence (spiral, straight, circular or serpentine line)
     
    Group OPEN
    SHORT PROGRAM (music duration 1.30 mins.+/- 10 seconds)
    FREE PROGRAM (music duration 2.00 mins.+/- 10 seconds)
    There is no limitation of any routines
